Saturday, May 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the West Sanctuary of Living Spirit Centre, 3018 Doan Drive.
This month's program "May Classics" includes works by Johannes Brahms (1833-1897), Alfred Schnitke (1934-1998); Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713); and Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847). Technically speaking, none of these pieces fall within the Classical era: instead, our program spans several centuries' worth of wonderful music ranging from Corelli's Baroque work, to more of Brahms' and Mendelssohn's works of the Romantic area, and then extending into the Twentieth Century with a piece by Russian-German composer Schnitke.
Admission is by donation.
