Pathways to Prayer - Part 2

Sessions run from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm SK/MB Time

Join Dr. Faith Nostbakken online and in-person (Ascension Lutheran, Edmonton) as we look at the Lord’s Prayer and its invitation to intimacy with God. We’ll consider its call to radical living that addresses injustice, extends grace, and abides in hope. We’ll also explore how approaching Scripture with our imagination may be a way of listening to God. Some may say, “I have no imagination.” Others may be suspicious of it as a pathway to prayer. Jesus’ own parables and sayings, however, relied on the imaginative engagement of his hearers.Continue the learning in ‘prayer’ as we open ourselves to God’s desire for relationship through the Lord’s Prayer, and by allowing God’s Word to connect to us through our senses and our willingness to enter the Gospel stories.

Registration fees are $25 per session or $45 for the 2 dates. Group Discounts also available.

10% discount for home attendees. For connection from your own home (limit of 30) all that is needed is wired internet connection, computer, microphone and speakers. Instructions will be provided.
