Have you ever struggled to read the Bible? Have you ever had a hard time getting into what the Bible is really saying? Do you wish you had a few more tools to help you figure out what’s really in this book (as important to our faith as we say it is)???
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this group is for you. We will be spending the next 5 or 6 sessions looking at what is in the Bible.. how to pull meaningful stuff out of what we read/hear.. and even talking about big heady issues like “what does it mean to say the Bible is TRUE?” All you need to bring is an open heart/mind, a Bible (the recommended one is an NRSV - New Revised Standard if you have a choice) and whatever you want for taking a few notes.
This really is a class for everyone - people who have tried to do Bible study in the past AND people who have never even dared crack the cover. Bring a friend!
