I was baptised and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran church in Regina. Later my family moved to Regina’s southwest and we became members of St. Marks Lutheran. I was involved in youth ministry and participated in their church council. After marrying Kathy and starting a family we moved to an acreage north east of Edenwold and became members of St. Paul’s Lutheran church where I served on council for several years and assisted in the Treasurer’s position. In 2023 we moved back to Regina and joined Bread of Life Lutheran where I was asked and agreed to join their church council.
