Sunday School is Starting Soon

Attention families with kids we are once more trying to fill out our records and contact information for possible Sunday school age folks.  If you have a child ages 4 - 11 please email us with the names, ages, & grade of your people so that we can be sure to let them know when we are doing something family-friendly and/or Sunday school-ish.  Sending us your information is not a commitment to be there every week or often but it does give us the ability to let you know when interesting things are on the horizon.  Email us the church office, [email protected]. 

Sunday School Our first Sunday School class will be September 22. As well as Sunday School there will be a congregational potluck that morning.

During Sunday School, we will be creating Flat Jesus. Based on Jeff Brown's books about the adventures of Flat Stanley, a boy who one day woke up to discover he was flattened, Flat Jesus can travel anywhere and is a reminder that Christ is always with us. Your family can take pictures of Flat Jesus as he travels with you throughout the year. For our last Sunday School class in April we will put together a slide show of the adventures of Flat Jesus. Upcoming Sunday School dates: October 20, November 17, December 1 & 8 (rehearsals for Christmas presentation), December 15, January 19, February 9, March 8, April 26. If you are interested in helping out or if you have any ideas for Sunday School please contact Marilyn Leier at [email protected]
